Native Plant Sales by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy– Saturday, October 14th at George F Canyon 10:30am – 1pm, Saturday, October 28th at White Point Nature Education Center 10:30am – 1pm. Monthly Plant Sales are Back! Come to our nature centers during our sales to learn more about growing local native plants and purchase some for your garden!
Wildlife Tracking - Saturday, October 21 & 28, 8:30am-11:30am (2-day training). 32201 Forrestal Dr, Rancho Palos Verdes. Help us monitor coyotes and other wildlife in the Palos Verdes Peninsula. No experience required. Ages 16+ Pre-registration required.

Full Moon Walk at George F Canyon by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy, Friday, October 27th, 7pm – Join the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy for a naturalist guided hike on a moonlit trail to see nature’s nocturnal sights. George F Canyon Guided Family Nature Preserve Walk with the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy, Saturday, October 7th, 10:30am. You will be guided by a trained naturalist to discover a unique variety of wildlife in their canyon habitat with amazing views of the LA Basin. Meet outside on the back deck of the George F Canyon Nature Center. Parking in Preserve lot located at 27305 Palos Verdes Drive East, Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274. Rain cancels. Guided Family Nature Walk at White Point Nature Preserve with the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy, Saturday, October 21st, 10:30am. Naturalists will guide you along a trail to discover a unique variety of wildlife in their coastal sage scrub habitat with amazing views across to the ocean. Meet in front of the Nature Center and come inside to explore after the hike. Preserve parking available at the end of the street in a gravel lot at 1600 West Paseo del Mar, San Pedro. Help care for the native plant demonstration garden at White Point Nature Preserve by planting native shrubs, removing invasive weeds, watering native plants, grooming trails and more!
