Wild Weather By Photographer and Contributor Dianne Gowder
I am sure you have all been well aware of the crazy weather we have been having this winter, and yes, even an English woman like me has had quite enough of all the rain.
However there is a bright side to all this. Where to begin…
Amazing cloud formations!
Raindrops on petals and a carpet of pink in the Botanic Garden. I think there’s a song there…
Rainbows.. who doesn’t love rainbows. I captured this one over the port of LA a few days ago. Both ends but the middle was hidden behind the clouds.
What else does all this rain bring us? Green hills, wildflowers, lush gardens, and cleaner air. I am starting to appreciate it a little more now I come to think of it!
So while we are all saying.. not again .. as the next storm comes in I would say.. look up, enjoy the clouds and breathe in all that lovely washed clean air.. and stay safe!

Dianne loves to walk and she tries to do at least 3 miles every day before she heads out to work. Her love of photography evolved from her walks.
“ I have always been amazed by scenery here and more and more I found myself stopping to capture the beauty of my surroundings. As I shared my work I realized that very few people were even aware of what they have on their doorstep!”
Dianne has made it her mission to share the beauty through her photographs and she takes her friends on walks as often as possible.
