Hummingbird
Yellow chevroned parakeet
Hooded oriole
Western bluebird
Goldfinch
Joe Carson’s interest in photography was passed on from his father who purchased a Canon A1 in the early 80’s and took dozens of rolls of film each summer during family vacations to Yosemite, the Eastern Sierras and Yellowstone. Joe switched to the digital format in 2005 with the purchase of a Nikon D70 (it still works), the same year he became a permanent resident of the South Bay. He started shooting aerial photos in 2020, taking advantage of the beautiful sunrises and sunsets along the local beaches. Joe has a variety of photography interests including landscape, portrait and sports.
