Calling all Wine Lovers! Don’t miss NATIONAL ROSÉ DAY By Designer, Photographer, Style Maker Simie Seaman
This year this sweet, sweet holiday fall on Saturday June 11
National Rosé Day was proclaimed in 2014, to be observed on the second Saturday in June each year to recognize a wine that complements many dishes. Rose is probably the oldest known type of wine, dating back as far as 600 BC. Rosé wines are generally made from red grapes and are very versatile wines. National Rosé Day is a great opportunity for you to get together with friends and family, crack open a bottle of Rosé wine, and kick off the summer season.
So, assuming the weather’s nice, why not take the festivities outside? Maybe a picnic at the beach with friends, pick up a bottle or two (or three) of wine, find some delicious chocolate to go with your rose and a bouquet of fresh flowers you’ll be all ready to go!
National Rosé Day is your chance to sip on wine, relax and look forward to the approaching summer. If you’re already a rosé lover, then perfect! You’ll feel right at home on June 11. And if you don’t usually drink rosé, this gives you an opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and enjoy a new drink. Maybe you’ll find you a new favorite cocktail or just time spent with friends. Either way, mark your calendars, because National Rosé Day is a holiday you won’t want to miss.
