Get Outdoors on New Year’s Day! Join a Guided Nature Walk at George F Canyon with the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy, Saturday, January 1st, 10:30am. You will be guided by a trained naturalist docent to discover a unique variety of wildlife in their canyon habitat with amazing views of the LA Basin. Meet on the back patio of the George F Canyon Nature Center, 27305 Palos Verdes Drive East, Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274. No RSVP required. Rain cancels.

MLK Jr. Day of Service, Monday, January 17th, 9am –12pm. Celebrate MLK Jr. Day with us by giving back! You will help care for the White Point Native Plant Demonstration Garden by planting native shrubs, removing invasive weeds, watering native plants and more! Family Nature Club: Wildlife in Winter, Saturday January 29th, 9am. Join the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy for the next Virtual Family Nature Club as we explore the topic of wildlife in winter! We'll learn about the special adaptations animals have that help them survive in the winter and we'll do a fun craft.
