9th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival On Tour Presented by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy - The PVP Land Conservancy hosts a special selection of 11 films in 2.5 hours on Sunday, March 3rd at 4 pm that will thrill all ages and inspire new ideas, actions and awareness. The event will also include a chance to meet Sid, a two-toed sloth, plus a beer/wine bar, photo booth and refreshments. The festival will be held at Dana Middle School, 1501 S Cabrillo Ave, San Pedro. Tickets are $15 online and $20 at the door. The event sells out quickly. St. Patrick’s Day Outdoor Volunteer Day at White Point Nature Preserve with the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy, Sunday, March 17th, 9am – 12pm. Join us for a special "Green" day, this St. Patrick's Day at White Point Nature Preserve located at 1600 Paseo del Mar, San Pedro! We will be working to maintain the Preserve's restoration area of coastal sage scrub habitat critical for wildlife and beautify this major outdoor natural space for the community to enjoy. Native Plant Sale by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy – Saturday, March 9th at George F Canyon 10:30am – 12pm, located at 27305 Palos Verdes Dr E, Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274. Create your own butterfly garden with a beautiful native plant from the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Our native plant expert will give you professional tips on creating a garden waystation and home for local species! Join us Saturday, March 23rd at White Point Nature Education Center located at 1600 Paseo del Mar, San Pedro 10:30am – 12pm for another chance to get native plants.

Saturday, March 9th, Join us at George F Canyon Nature Center from 10:30am-11:30am for a reptile themed nature club. We'll do some fun reptile activities and meet our live reptile ambassadors! Ages 5 to 10 years.
Nature & Me Storytime at George F Canyon Nature Center, Friday, March 15th, 10:15am – 11:15am. Join the Palos Verdes Library District for stories, songs, and rhymes at George F Canyon Nature Center located at 27305 Palos Verdes Dr E, Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274! Recommended for ages 2-5. Family Nature Walk at George F Canyon Nature Preserve with the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy, Saturday, March 2nd, 10:30am. Naturalists will guide you along a trail through the preserve to discover a unique variety of wildlife in their canyon habitat with amazing views of the LA Basin. Meet on the back patio of the Nature Center and come inside to explore after the hike. Meet outside on the back deck of the George F Canyon Nature Center.
