Art At Your Fingertips is a Palos Verdes Art Center school-based outreach program. This program brings visual arts education to elementary school classrooms from developmental kindergarten through sixth grade. Started in 1976 by PVAC volunteers dismayed by the loss of art education in the schools, 300 volunteer docents attend ten on-site workshops in order to deliver five, quality, standards-based art projects to 6,000 students grades TK-5 in public and private school on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. This venerable program has developed partnerships to expand PVAC’s reach beyond the Peninsula to ethnically diverse, underserved students throughout Los Angeles County.
This is an in person meeting. All Point Vicente Chapter meetings are open to the public, and we encourage you to invite friends and family to this special event.
