The Spring Egg Hunt Presented by Cirque du Soleil Is Happening at the Garden
OVO by Cirque du Soleil has inspired an egg hunt at the South Coast Botanic Garden, 26300 Crenshaw Blvd., in Palos Verdes Estates. Kids can search for eight large, fancifully decorated eggs throughout the gardens and turn-in a completed map for a small prize. Through May 1. SCBG is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Cost: members, free; adults, $15; seniors and students, $11; children 5-12, $5/children; children under 4, free. Information: southcoastbotanicgarden.org.
Cirque du Soleil OVO engulfs its audience into the world of insects as they work, play, fight and look for love in a non-stop riot of energy. If you haven’t seen the show yet, you’re in luck. Garden Members and visitors get 10% off by using our exclusive promocode ‘SCBG‘ on this ticketing page.
For the hunt, you’ll want to grab the OVO inspired map at the start of your visit, which will help lead you to the 8 eggs hidden throughout the Garden. As you make your way through the hunt, complete the map by drawing which egg is found at each stop. Bring your completed sheet to the Gift Shop Kiosk in Palm Circle to receive a small prize! Cirque du Soleil will also be on site handing out a small giveaway from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 2; Sunday, April 3, and Sunday, April 10.
The Spring Egg Hunt is included with your cost of admission, and for an additional cost ($5 for Members or $7 for non-members), you can also visit our butterfly pavilion for our new SOAR – Tropical Butterflies exhibit, which also opens Friday, April 1 and runs through July 31!
OVO by Cirque du Soleil is now playing through May 1st at LA Live’s MS Theater. www.cirquedusoleil.com/ovo
