On the last Sunday of each year, the Southern California Horseless Carriage Club has a much-anticipated meeting and drive around Pasadena, San Marino, and environs. This year we dodged the rain, but not the temperatures. When we arrived at the starting point in Arcadia, it was 42 degrees, tho that wasn’t so bad once the sun started to come up – got up to a balmy 52.
As usual, there was a wide assortment of vehicles from around 1909 thru 1957. In order to drive on the tour tho, you had to have a car of 1932 or earlier. We drove a modern car up there because, at 42 degrees with no heater, that’s a long trip in the 1932 Chrysler Imperial. There were probably 125 or so cars there – here are a few pictures that caught our eye.
