The Beautiful Artwork of Jeanette Holt Donaher
My introduction to painting began upon my retirement from a 20 year stint working in Aerospace. I knew I could draw fairly well but my limited painting skills that I acquired in San Pedro High School were very limited so I did things the hard way, trial and error. After accumulating a small inventory a friend and I began selling at Flea Markets. It was there that I was approached by The Bella Cottage, Van Nuys and Home Sweet Home in Beverly Hills to sell in their stores.
I also sold in a few local boutiques. While doing a show at the Pt Fermin Lighthouse with The Emporium, a San Pedro store loved by all, a magazine scout submitted photos of my work which led to being published in Romantic Homes and Cottages and Bungalows magazines. I mostly paint at a leisurely pace for my own enjoyment now but I do sell so as not to overcrowd my workspace. God's gifts are a blessing, I'm thankful.

I do decorative art in acrylics & canvas art in oils. I did the cover art for The Country Register & was featured in the Dec 06 issue of Romantic Homes magazine. I believe that our talent's are gifts from God and we strive to capture even a little of His created beauty on canvas.
